How Do I Face Challenges That I Can’t Solve Part 4

Back to Part 3

Letting Go
I found out that some challenges are not within our control, some challenges are not within our reach, no matter what we do.

I learn that I can’t control everything, there are circumstances that I can’t grasp. So instead of holding onto it, worrying about it and can’t change anything; I choose to let go of control, allowing things to take care of itself.

Recently, I was on the verge of closing the biggest training contract of my life. The deal is basically 90% done. The last 10% involves another party that I do not have access of. I’ve come to a stage that this deal is completely out of my reach, I have done all I can to move the deal to the 90% line. I have to trust the other party to take care of this deal from then on.

I stop worrying about it, let it off my mind and allow things to take care of themselves. I also share with my support team, they too point out that this is out of my reach. Even if I am cracking my head to bring this deal to its finishing line, it is beyond me. The only suggestion my support team gave me is they will pray for me. I absolutely need all the prayers I can get.

While writing this post, I received the signed contract from the client. Thank you for those who prayed.

There are challenges that you can change, there are some that are out of your control. Change those that you can change, and accept those that you can’t. Interestingly, when you accept and let go, these uncontrollable challenges actually took care of themselves.

With these four points, you are more equipped to take on challenges in life. With challenge, life becomes interesting. We grow as a person with each challenge we overcome. So continue to strive, continue to progress; I’ll see you at the top. Um no, wait. Wait for me at the top.
